I had Daniel present to my TEC CEO Peer Advisory Board. He took the group on a pathway from 'busy' to 'strategic'. He presented a cogent and rational case for the pathway, gave usable and accessible tools for the group to move along the pathway and asked them to commit to action.
His style is impressive. He is a natural presenter and teacher. He uses style, substance and some humour to deliver and engage the group in his deep knowledge of his subject.
Daniel recently ran a session which ended with a spontaneous standing ovation. He engaged people in the room who I didn't think would ever respond, listen let alone take-away actions.
Post this session, I observed genuine behaviour changes across the team and their interactions with stakeholders. This was one of the best things I could have done for the team.
I had the privilege of listening to Dan talk about leadership and empathy. The session was full of moments that made you think, practical ways to apply empathy in leadership situations and to approach everyday situations a little differently.
Dan made us think more about our perception of people and our preconditioned responses to certain situations and how these play out at work.
There were so many valuable learnings for me and things I will now do differently. I really enjoyed the style of the content of what we went through!
